A reporter and several other people were injured when angry red-shirted supporters of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra threw rocks against vehicles leaving the Parliament compound.
The red-shirted people became angry after Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva was elected the next prime minister.
The protesters blocked the gates of the Parliament for about 30 minutes but were later pushed off by police.
They then waited at a gate and threw rocks at vehicles which were leaving, breaking their windows.
Sitthichai Jaruhiransakul, a reporter of Prachathat, was hit at his nose, causing it to bleed.

Red-shirted people became angry upon learning the result of PM voting and used metal barriers to block the gates of Parliament at 10:40 am, it was reported.
TNN Channel showed pictures of red-shirted people using metal barriers of police to block the gates.
Police were seen looking on idly.

I watch the television today and recognised the places where we were attacked by tear gas bomb. Those days and today are totally difference. But I do understand police, that they can’t do much to the red-shirt gangster because the red shirt is police’s big-brother.
Remember the day that the police headquarter was protected by red shirt when PAD were around there to distribute a CD.

Red Shirts, Yellow Shirts, unfortunately anyone on behalf of some “noble” objectives did the same. Pictures are very clear showing both sides using weapons and methods that are a shame.
Why both sides for a change do not try to obbey the law?

The Thaksin paid Red Shirt Mob have a group of leaders apart from the BIG BOSS Mr. Money man Thaksin and all are thugs and corrupt.
Their leadership displays one of violence, intimidation and total thugery.
How can the Thailand Leaders of this mob believe that the West would trust them if they became the Thai Government. Thaksin will stop at nothing to gain control of Thailand again. He has proved previously he will use his henchmen to commit the crimes and he denies all.
A convicted Criminal Thaksin is fast running out of small countries where he can reside and use his propaganda to brain wash the unbrained Northern Thailand peoples. Education is a tool that allows a person to come out of ignorance and learn to know when you are being cheated lied to and led by the nose.

Bangkok is up in smoke, virtually. The Red Shirt protesters are against the current Government in Bangkok and making the effort to have an immediate election put in order. The protests have gotten so bad that there is violence and bloodshed almost everywhere. Bangkok has now enforced a curfew, and Brittan has told its residents never to travel to Thailand period. They have closed their embassy until the protests stop and if a Brit is already in Thailand, they recommend them leaving as quickly as possible; but not until after curfew with all the appropriate documents not to have trouble at the checkpoints.There are a lot of people who got hurt because of the protest.Also not only people were hurt, but also the a lot of buildings were ruined and burned completely.
