If it was a M67 grenade, how can this Thai police acquire such war-class item?

They might take it from some drug dealers they arrested sometime ago, but this information can’t be confirmed.  However, majority of Thai police who were in charge of this violent was from the Border Patrol Police unit. One of this unit’s main duties is to prevent drugs from coming into Thailand from our country’s neighbors.

What was used during the attack might not be the M67 grenade. There would be more deaths. Not just people loosing there parts. Some argues that it is similar to one type of tear gas bomb, I will update you again on this.

On going discussion

I have seen that many of you are checking this page. There are an on-going discussion in Thailand right now. At first, I am waiting until we can really know the actual grenade type before updating this blog. But since this page is so popular so, here is a quick update.

It could be a type of tear gas grenades banned by UN made in China. The head of it is capable of exploding into pieces of sharp plastic that cut people feet on impact. There are so little information about this type of bomb on the Internet. We are trying to find out now.
