PAD Street Market, the new walking street market in town!
Everybody is welcome to come, especially foreign tourists who visit the nearby sightseeing. You can call Tuk Tuk to transport you to the PAD Street Market from Wat Pra Kaew, Phu Kao Thong, Chinese Market or even the market at Saphan Phut.
The best time to come is in the evening or early morning. Good weather and not to hot.

how id Khun Sondhis business empire, do they have plans for maintaining their revenue flows after the protests decay away?

From what I heard, K’Sondhi business empire doesn’t go well. (really don’t care whether it is true or not)
I just put what I like to put on. And I think it is a good place for tourists to go.
And most money spent in the market are profits for local shop keepers not ASTV.
However, I admit that the place can attract more people to come to the protesting area as well

As far as I know, the earth is full of dirty mind people. I also noticed this from your question.
The PAD market from the beginning and untill now is not directy related to the PAD or Khun Sondhi. But it was organised to keep it in good order, mostly for security reason and organisation. Latey, all shops need to be registered but the registration means no *fee*. The shops pay nothing to the PAD except some that did donation to support PAD’s movement.
The *clear* separated ASTV shop is also available. The shop is aimed to make it more easily for people to buy and distribute ASTV Satellite. The shop also sells other stuffs to support ASTV.
In your thought, ASTV is Sondhi’s business but PAD people see ASTV as a part of PAD (unable to be divided) and people are the owner of ASTV.
The concept of PAD Street Market is originated from idea of the Indy PAD Network shop, to introduce a walking street market, sufficial economy and people politics.
