Latest Update from PAD Stage
Anupong Samerphak is not the correct name. It is Yutthapong. His heart stopped beating around 10-11am, the doctor brought him back to life again by defibrillation. Now only his heart is still beating, but a part of his brain is now dead.
Why he was there?
He usually went outside the protesting area to deliver food to military police who came to protect the safety in the area. He was very happy by doing that, the same thing happened for many nights. Everybody agrees, he was young, brave and good heart.
Now his mother is flying from Germany to Bangkok to see him for the last time.
Good person is dying by a coward bomb from a devil.
Eight protesters were injured, one severely, after two assailants launched a grenade at them at the Misakawan Intersection outside the Government House early Saturday.
The attack was made at 2:10 am against a group of some 20 protesters who were standing and talking outside a gate of the Government House.
Anupong Samerphak, 22, was hit by bomb shrapnel at his body and neck. Ramathibodi Hospital doctors had to put him on respiratory system.
Eyewitnesses said two teenagers parked their motorcycle near the back gate of the Metropolitan Police head office and used a grenade launcher to launch a grenade at the protesters. The two fled the scene on Phitsanulok Road.
The injured protesters were standing near the Fifth Gate of the Government House Complex opposite from the Education Ministry.
The explosion caused a small hole in the ground and damaged two pick-up trucks, a sedan car and a motorcycle near the scene.
Maj Gen Anan Srihiran, commander of the Metropolitan Police Division 1, rushed to the scene with bomb disposal officers to carry out an investigation.
Pongchai Saetang, 42, a taxi driver, told police that he was waiting at the intersection for passengers when he saw a red light in the air, which was followed by a loud noise shortly.
He said the explosion occurred at the spot where about 20 people were talking.
The taxi driver said he saw two young men fleeing on their motorcycle on Phitsanulok heading to the Wang Daeng intersection.
The two men were about 200 metres away from the explosion spot when they ran to their motorcycle and fled, the taxi driver said.
The seven other injured were identified as Wirat Piangsajja, 54, Somchai Wongsonthi, 44, Pongchanok Kanchana-amorndej, 31, Samrerng Buachan, 26, Prakrong Hachai, 38, Narong Nakiam, 64 and Ekkapol Sahawat, 33.
All of them were rushed to the Ramathibodi Hospital by the PAD guards.
It was the second bomb attack after the tacit ceasefire during the royal cremation period.
Early Thursday, a grenade was launched at protesters inside the Government House complex, killing one and injuring more than 20 others.
The Thursday bomb prompted the PAD to declare war and plan a mass rally outside Parliament Sunday to try to speed up the downfall of the government.

More top boots seem to get bought out by Thaksin day-by-day.

the PAD should stop their illegal armed insurrection and occupation of government house and surrounding roads
it is against the law for everyone, including the PAD to carry arms in public, to occupy government property and restrict the freedom of movement of others
the administrative court ruled that the PAD were doing all these things during their protest around parliament on Nov 7… now they are planning to do these things again
if the PAD leaders go to gaol to await the cases against them and the others give their IDs to police and go home all reasonable members of the Thai public can get on with our normal lives
the PAD have already caused too many people to lose their lives and be scarred for life,
if they disperse now some further lives will be saved

David:
Did you mean that PAD bombed each other just to blame it on the government? Could you propose another theory that makes more sense, please?
What is your reaction on 2 M79 grenades that were fired into the crowd? Democracy?

hmmm…
if the PAD were not there
who would bomb them?

David: “if the PAD were not there, who would bomb them?”
You know, you sound much like Samak Sundaravej in 1992 after the soldiers was secretly ordered by the coup leader to mercilessly fire on the protesters led by Chamlong Srimuang of the time. Samak said “If the people stayed home, who would shot them dead?” It has become Samak’s signature quote since then. I had never thought that I would have heard something very similar again until today.
Amazingly both Samak Sundaravej and Thaksin Shinawatra supported and reaped hefty interests from the 1992 coup, which ended up with bloodshed that costed hundreds of lives of innocent Thais.
Proof? Check out the image below.

Again, David, could you provide a “solid” proof that PAD is armed to instigate violence?

actually I didnt know I was in such fine company
I hosted Khun Chamlong in Perth after the 1992 confrontation
the people of Perth thought he was a hero because he was on the side of democracy against the military
they are shocked that he has switched sides and now is anti-democracy and is supporting some form of dictatorship of the elite in Thailand
oh.. how have the mighty fallen….
I repeat … cause and effect… the PAD starts behaving like normal peaceful protesters and lives will be saved

Chamlong switched side to “anti-democracy”? What do you think “democracy” means?
Explain…..

just to confirm what happens in Australia, since someone else asked whether peaceful protests are allowed…
NOT armed…. if you are detected to be armed while attending a protest you will be arrested, the arms confiscated and you will be held charged with “being armed in company” and “armed in public”, and probably with “intention to cause a melee”
even if you make no offensive motions it is deemed that you are raising the risk to everyone around you!
now, that is called preventing problems arising…
which is what any sensible protester that wants to be taken seriously should do!
so, why should we take what the PAD say seriously?

@不能说的事实
When asking about democracy, I don’t think David Brown can explain it.. he has lived in the ivory tower for so long or he never actually fight for anything. But if he was be able to explain…. he would start with the word “election”, “major vote” Then.. for everything else it would be PAD to blame not giving the chance to poor people.
David Brown, could u tell me the truth.. what is keeping you here?.. The more you access the web site, the more you support me, do you know?

Vorapoap,
Let him speak up about his democracy according to his interpretation since he implied he has spent at least some time in Australia.

Looking forward to hear about your experience at the protests.

Thank you ST..!! It has been a very peaceful protesting for me yesterday… of course there was some over-control by some individual angry PADs, but the number is so small in the whole picture.
Will have to update on this later

Vorapoap,
Great to have you back. I got to confess to you that I have no gut to do it like you did for I care more about my family behind me. I admire your courage and that of many others in yellow out there.

If you admit that way.. please always remember us. Tell your kids about us… Teach your kids how the true democracy should be…
Once in my life, I have faught. Fight for what I believe. I will die in peace… No matter what it gonna be…
However…. I believe that if we prevail in this battle, the new age of Thailand is shining now.

Of course, the next generation will have to learn about it.
BTW, I am still waiting for Dave to explain his version of democracy.
